The response from the Microsoft 'MVP' was: "Linux dual boot is not supported under Windows 10" - which begs the question: what right do you have to trash my boot configuration?Īs a professional software developer and network consultant with 40+ years experience, (who has been battling the predatory marketing and product development practices of Microsoft since about 1980), this is the first time in my memory that Microsoft has actually gone to the extreme of deliberately sabotaging a competing entity's standards compliant construct: purposely and properly installed by the owner of a computer which, coincidentally, contained a copy of Windows. I just got through reading some posts on a microsoft site from people who discovered that the 'anniversary' edition of Windows 10 ruined their Grub2 dual boot systems.
